Engaged? Yay!!! That is so awesome, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for you. I know that with the current health crisis upon us, it’s hard to be excited about planning a wedding. And some brides are waiting to set a date since we don’t know when things will go back to normal.

But good news! There IS wedding planning you can start doing in the meantime! Hopefully this post will be encouraging to you as you begin making plans for your big day. What a great way to spend your quarantine!

Things you can start doing this week:

  1. Set a Vision and Priorities
  2. Establish your guest count and begin making guest list
  3. Budget
  4. Brainstorm who will be in your wedding party and prepare gifts/notes to ask them
  5. Research Venues
  6. Research Vendors
  7. Quality time with your fiance
  8. Mood Board
  9. Registry
  10. Get organized
  11. Collect Addresses
  12. Arrange premarital counseling
  13. Decide whether or not you’re going to do a first look
  14. Create a wedding email address
  15. Journal
  16. Begin to plan your ceremony
  17. Engagement Photos
  18. Make a group chat with your bridesmaids to discuss things and get excited
  19. Pick bridesmaid & groomsmen attire
  20. Set up wedding website
